LISTEN TO MY SHAPES
Album Review

The Sensations are my new favorite band. A fabulous blend of '70s rock, Simon & Garfunkel, and a little British rock (see title track, "Listen to my Shapes"), the Sensations are everything that is currently missing in modern rock. All of their songs sound different, they're catchy in a good way (not in the "if-this-song-doesn't-get-out-of-my-head-I-will-throw-something" way), and they're just plain talented. Consisting of members of The Mother Hips and ex-Cake drummer, Todd Roper, these guys are destined to be loved by all ages. Need something to get mom for Mother's Day or dad for Father's Day? Listen To My Shapes is it. With a very impressive debut album, the Sensations are bound to make headlines and billboards, because they are just so musically original and so much fun to listen to.
Key Tracks: "My Big Fame," "Winds of Emotion" and "I, As A Ghost"
Rating: 5 Stars.
